Facility: Tribal 638 Healthcare Facility

Schedule: Variable shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Job Highlights

• Join a collaborative pharmacy team serving the San Carlos Apache community
• Process approximately 1,000 prescriptions per day using advanced pharmacy technology
• Work with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System, SP200 Robot, Omnicell ADCs, Carousel, and Kirby Lester counting machines
• Current EMR: RPMS, with transition to a new EHR underway
• Provide prescription processing, medication management, controlled substance dispensing, and patient counseling
• Support clinical teams throughout the hospital and community
• Opportunity to work in an underserved population and a growing pharmacy program

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Current BLS certification
• Current, active, unrestricted U.S. Pharmacy license (Arizona license preferred)
• Strong knowledge of current medications and pharmacy practices
• Ability to process prescriptions and controlled substances accurately and efficiently
• Ability to provide timely patient counseling
• Flexible and able to work variable shifts and adapt to departmental needs

Preferred

• 2+ years of clinical pharmacy experience
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Reliable team player with flexibility, integrity, and a positive attitude
