Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Pediatric RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Sioux Falls, SD. The role focuses on delivering high-quality pediatric care across clinical settings, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of pediatric RN experience, current RN license, BLS, and PALS/ENPC certification. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to support patients and families during travel assignments.

Qualifications

• One year of recent pediatric RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to children and families in an appropriate manner to foster understanding and alleviate fear.
• Administer prescribed medications with pediatric dosing considerations.
• Prepare and manage pediatric equipment, assisting physicians during treatment and examination.
• Ensure comfort and safety of pediatric patients, considering developmental needs.
• Observe patients and document conditions, notifying supervisor of any concerns.
• Take vital signs and assess patient condition regularly.
