Job summary

Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Pediatric RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
- PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.
Responsibilities
- Explain procedures and treatments to children and families clearly.
- Administer prescribed medications with pediatric dosing.
- Prepare pediatric equipment and assist physicians during exams.
- Ensure pediatric patient safety and comfort.
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
- Take vital signs and monitor patient condition.
- Respond to life-threatening situations per policy.
- Develop and implement patient and family education plans.
- Collaborate with families on care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
