Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver school-based PT across Illinois campuses. Roles are flexible full-time or part-time with travel to nearby schools, collaborating with teachers and families to support students.

You will evaluate, treat, and document progress for students from elementary to transition programs, train staff on mobility equipment, and adapt to varying start times around 7:30–8:30 am. Contract through June 2027 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT) required.
• Active Illinois Physical Therapy License.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
• Willingness to travel between school campuses and adapt to school hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students from elementary through transition programs.
• Manage caseloads of 35–45 students across general education and self-contained settings.
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Train staff and students in positioning and mobility equipment safety.
• Maintain timely documentation including daily notes and progress reports.
• Collaborate with educational team to maximize student participation and independence.
