Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time school-based Physical Therapist near Chicago Heights, IL to support high school students under IEPs.

You will deliver therapy services, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to promote mobility and academic success in the school environment.

Applicants must hold an Illinois PT license and have experience in school-based or pediatric therapy, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois.
• Strong foundation in school-based, healthcare, or pediatric physical therapy.
• Prior experience within a high school or educational setting highly valued.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs.
• Assess, document, and monitor progress toward therapy goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support students' functional and educational needs.
• Develop targeted intervention plans, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and provide insights for student success.
• Educate staff and families on strategies to promote mobility and motor skills in school environments.
