Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support K-12 students across Houston area campuses during the 2026-2027 school year.

The role involves evaluating and treating children and adolescents, with a split caseload shared with another PT. You will travel between campuses from a district office base, maintaining strong documentation and collaborating with district staff to promote student growth and success.

Qualifications

• Active Texas physical therapy license required.
• Proven experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy for PTAs.
• Completion of state fingerprinting and background check prior to employment.
• Experience working with K-12 students, including those needing direct and consultative services.
• Familiarity with Frontline and SuccessEd documentation systems preferred.
• Must not have been previously employed by the district or been terminated from any school district (affidavit required).

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver care for a split caseload of 160 students (50 direct services).
• Collaborate with another PT and district staff to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation using district systems.
• Utilize the district office as a hub and travel between assigned campuses.
• Build rapport with students and staff across diverse age groups.
