Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Travel Stepdown RN to provide specialized care for patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer meds, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You'll educate patients on cardiac health and participate in safety protocols and regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical judgment, patient safety focus, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Role: Travel Stepdown RN, responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, requiring frequent monitoring and nursing interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.


• Administer medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.


• Respond to cardiac emergencies, document patient conditions, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
