Job summary

The VIOS Clinic seeks a Travel Stepdown RN to support care transitions from ICU to medical-surgical units in sunny Arizona. You will provide frequent monitoring, telemetry interpretation, and assistance with cardiac procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with BLS and ACLS, at least one year of stepdown experience, and demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills while maintaining safety and confidentiality on site.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Critical thinking, strong interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, PC skills, and physical ability to assist with procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle frequent contact with the public, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer treatments and medications following approved techniques.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures.
• Observe and record patient conditions, notify team of significant changes, and respond to emergencies.
• Provide patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
