Job summary

DayToDay Health is seeking a Travel Stepdown RN to support ICU-to-med-surg transitions across our hospital network. You will provide specialized cardiac-focused care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license with BLS and ACLS, and strong clinical skills in telemetry, assessment, and patient education; travel availability may apply.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient care.
• Proficiency in English and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

Role:

Travel Stepdown RN

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Assess and manage complex patient needs, document assessments, and respond to emergency situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
