MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a Grand Island, Nebraska assignment. The role is a 15-week travel position with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Required: RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS, and 18 months of recent acute care PCU/step-down experience. This travel opportunity offers weekly pay, housing options, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and signs/symptoms; utilizes nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets health data and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Documents plan of care with nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education.
• Revises the care plan according to evaluation and changes in medical plan of care.
