Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The PCU RN provides bedside care, acute monitoring and rapid assessment in a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

Start ASAP for a 22-week assignment. Requirements include ACLS and BLS with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience; additional certifications may be required before starting. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts with a tax-free stipend.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac and vital signs with PCU equipment.
• Administer and chart prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and adjust as needed; respond to changes in patient status.
