Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Progressive Care PCU RN for a travel assignment in Washington, DC. The RN will deliver care to telemetry/progressive care patients and perform clinical judgments with supervision, ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include an active RN license in the practicing state, CPR if applicable, and 1 year of nursing experience (PCU preferred). Travel with competitive weekly pay and standard benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state where the nurse practices.
• One year nursing experience; PCU experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB test/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to telemetry/progressive care patients.
• Make clinical judgments with supervision and efficiency.
• Coordinate patient care with critical thinking and teamwork.
• Adhere to nursing standards and safety protocols.
• Assist other staff in the management of patient care.
