Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred with one year progressive care unit experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Progressive Care Unit RN delivers patient care to telemetry/progressive care patients.
• Demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision.
• Coordinates patient care and maintains nursing standards; supports other staff in patient care management.
