Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel PCU RN in Cleveland, Ohio for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, nights, and 12-hour shifts. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience in the Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.

ACLS/BLS are required and NIH certification may be requested. The PCU nurse will monitor cardiac patients, manage meds, and respond to changes in patient status, using telemetry and other monitoring equipment.

Qualifications

• PCU travel nursing with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH certification referenced.
• 12-hour night shifts; willing to travel and work in a fast-paced PCU environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
