TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia. The PCU travel role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and involves 48 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Travel RN with PCU/stepdown specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed meds.
• Monitor equipment and interpret displays for changes.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows issues.
