Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a PCU travel nurse RN for a travel nursing job in High Point, North Carolina. The PCU RN provides care for patients requiring monitoring and frequent assessment on a 12‑hour day shift with 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications. This position involves fast-paced patient care in a progressive unit with potential housing or stipends as part of the package.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH certification or equivalent may be required.
• 1 year of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor and titrate medications and IVs; observe for adverse reactions.
• Utilize monitoring equipment and record vital signs and cardiac data.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team and intervene as needed.
