TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This PCU Travel Nurse role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and involves caring for patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU care.

Responsibilities include bedside care, IV starts, medication administration, and monitoring equipment with fast-paced teamwork. Travel status and 12-hour shifts with a stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical patients.
• Monitor and assess patients, respond to changes in condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and document treatments.
• Utilize monitoring equipment and interpret vital signs.
• Follow protocols for infection control and patient safety.
