Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit in Kearney, NE. This PCU RN will care for patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU care, with a 12-hour night shift and 36 hours per week.

Immediate opening with 1–2 years of acute care experience and certifications such as ACLS, BLS. The role involves monitoring vital signs, titrating IV medications, and coordinating care in a fast-paced progressive care setting.

Qualifications

• RN with 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays; respond to changes.
• Follow monitoring data to take corrective action as needed.
