Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience and be available for an immediate start.

This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour days, with travel employment. As a PCU nurse, you will monitor cardiac patients, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient status, using standard monitoring equipment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required; NIH certification also required.
• 3 years of acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Care for PCU patients needing close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Monitor cardiac and vital information using equipment and interpret displays.
• Stabilize and report adverse reactions; administer meds per protocol.
• Perform bedside care and manage IVs as needed.
