Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel PCU RN for a 12-week assignment in Ann Arbor, MI. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, and candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience.

ACLS and BLS certifications are required, with duties including monitoring, med administration, and patient safety in a progressive care unit. As a PCU travel nurse, you will monitor cardiac patients, manage IVs and dressings, and coordinate care with the team.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor patient status using equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
