Job summary

TotalMed RN in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a PCU Travel Nurse to provide skilled care in a fast-paced progressive care unit. You will monitor cardiac patients, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has ACLS and BLS certifications and 1–2 years of acute care experience. This travel assignment offers 12-hour shifts, a tax-free stipend, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
