TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio. This PCU role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and offers a 16-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour rotating shift.

The PCU nurse will monitor cardiac patients, provide bedside care, start IVs, administer medications, and interpret telemetry. Certifications like BLS, ACLS, and CHEMO may be required.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, CHEMO certifications requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer prescribed meds and monitor responses.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret electronic displays.
• React quickly to changes in patient condition.
