Job summary

TotalMed RN in Columbus, OH is seeking a PCU Travel Nurse (RN) for an immediate opening. The PCU role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and involves 12-hour rotating shifts on a 36-hour weekly schedule.

As a PCU travel nurse, you will monitor patients requiring close observation but not ICU care, manage meds, and respond to changes in patient status. Start ASAP with 13-week duration and travel employment type.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Travel assignment; 12-hour rotating shifts; 36 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Administer and document prescribed medications with adverse reaction reporting.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays for changes.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows issues.
