Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Bloomington, Illinois. The PCU RN will care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment in a progressive care setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and is available for a 13‑week assignment with 36 hours per week on nights. Travel nurses benefit from weekly pay and comprehensive benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• Bedside care and stabilization of cardiac patients.
• Monitoring vital signs and patient status.
• Documentation and timely reporting of changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor monitors, titrate medications, respond to changes.
• Perform IV insertion, dressings, catheter care, and routine procedures.
• Assist with medication administration and charting in PCU.
