Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a travel assignment in Lorain, Ohio. The PCU RN will provide care for patients needing close monitoring and regular assessments, including cardiac patients, with a focus on safety and timely intervention.

The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS, and NIH certifications. Shift is 12 hours at night, 36 hours per week, travel employment with tax considerations; 13-week duration with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Ohio RN license/permit in good standing.
• ACLS & BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Administer and document prescribed medications; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust patient-specific equipment; interpret vital signs.
• Record and report changes using electronic monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure patient safety and timely interventions.
