Job summary

TotalMed RN in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment in the PCU. This role requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

As a PCU RN, you will monitor cardiac patients, manage IV medications, and collaborate with the care team to detect and respond to changes rapidly. The position includes travel benefits and a tax-free stipend; ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required or preferred.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in PCU
• Travel RN with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and equipment displays and report changes.
