Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown (PCU) for a 13-week assignment in Mayfield Heights, OH. You will work 36 hours per week on night shifts in a fast-paced progressive care unit.

The ideal candidate has 1.5 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and is comfortable with 12-hour shifts and travel nursing requirements. This role offers a dedicated travel opportunity with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 1.5 years of recent acute care experience in PCU/stepdown.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Travel nursing assignment in Mayfield Heights, OH.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize progressive care patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs with appropriate equipment.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and coordinate with care team.
