Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a PCU travel nurse to work in Ann Arbor, MI. The role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and involves a 13-week assignment on nights, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.

The PCU RN will monitor patients with close observation, manage medications, and respond to changes in status. This travel opportunity emphasizes fast-paced care, vigilance, and teamwork in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• ALCS, BLS, 1 Year
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
