Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Augusta, GA. The role is a travel assignment with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration. Start date is 10/19/2026, with ACLS and BLS required and 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities include bedside care, IVs, medication administration, critical monitoring, and rapid response to changes in patient condition during this PCU rotation.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required; 2 years of experience in acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and equipment; respond to changes.
• Assist with patient transfers and documentation as needed.
