Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Decatur, Georgia. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts, focusing on patients who require close monitoring but are not in ICU.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and ACLS/BLS certification; NIH may be required. Start date is 10/19/2026. TotalMed RN provides weekly pay, benefits, and stipends where applicable.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required for PCU travel assignment.
• NIH certification may be required before starting.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and record vital signs.
• Administer medications and document responses.
• Operate and monitor monitoring equipment and alarms.
• Escalate changes in patient condition promptly.
