Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lithonia, GA. You will assess recovery, monitor vitals, administer medications, and coordinate post-operative care with the surgical team.

The role requires 1 year PACU experience, GA RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred additional credentials include PALS/ENPC. Travel benefits and support are provided by the staffing partner.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license GA in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess post-anesthesia recovery and initial conditions.
• Monitor vitals and recovery progress.
• Administer medications per post-anesthesia nursing techniques.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical team for discharge planning.
• Perform handoffs between OR, PACU, and post-PACU units.
