Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Lithonia, GA. You will provide specialized post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, administer medications, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge planning.

The role requires 1 year PACU experience, valid RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Travel benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• One year of PACU RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in Georgia or eligible to practice there.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications per post-anesthesia protocols.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical team for post-operative care.
• Coordinate patient handoffs between OR, PACU and post-PACU units.
