Fusion Medical Staffing‑Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU for a 13‑week assignment in Atlanta, GA. This role offers 40 hours per week in days, with a focus on post‑anesthesia recovery care.
As part of our team, you will assess patients, administer treatments, collaborate with the surgical team, and support safe patient discharge. Applicants should have one year PACU experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS.
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
Responsibilities
- Receive and assess patients transferring from the operating room and monitor post‑anesthesia condition.
- Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post‑anesthesia nursing techniques.
- Document patient assessments and recovery progress in medical records.
- Coordinate with the surgical team for post‑operative care and discharge planning.
