Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Canton, GA. You will provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor vitals, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe post-operative recovery.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from the operating room and evaluate post-anesthesia condition.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness level, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post-anesthesia nursing techniques.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress in medical records.
• Develop and deliver discharge instructions and recovery guidelines.
