Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing invites a skilled PACU RN to join a 13-week travel assignment in Canton, GA. You will assess post-anesthesia patients, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge and continuity of care.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with preferred PALS/ENPC. Travel positions offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in PACU post-anesthesia.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and post-op treatments.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education during recovery.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Coordinate with surgical team and other providers for discharge planning.
• Handoff communications between OR, PACU, and post-PACU units.
