Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (General) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lanham, Maryland. The role involves delivering OTA services in a Skilled Nursing Facility with a 5x8 schedule and guaranteed hours, starting December 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will hold an active Maryland COTA license or be eligible to practice in Maryland, and have completed an accredited OTA program.

Qualifications

• Maryland COTA license or eligibility to practice in Maryland
• Graduation from an accredited OTA program
• Ability to work effectively in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents focusing on activities of daily living, mobility and functional independence
• Implement therapy treatment plans, conduct sessions and document resident progress
• Support residents with ADLs, mobility training, balance and strength activities and safe transfer techniques
• Maintain timely documentation in the electronic health record and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning
• Ensure a safe, clean and organized therapy environment in line with infection control and facility policies
