Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a 13-week assignment in Lanham, MD. The OTA will work under an OT to help patients develop daily living skills and contribute to treatment plans.

1 year of OTA experience, BLS, NBCOT (COTA) and state licensure are required. The role involves mobility assistance, therapeutic activities, progress reporting, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor progress and report observations to the OT.
• Document patient performance per guidelines.

• Educate patients and families on independence techniques.
• Maintain treatment area cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
