Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Lanham, Maryland. The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and work with an interdisciplinary team in an acute setting.

Requirements include 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for strong candidates), BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing. The role runs 40 hours per week for 13 weeks, starting 11/30/2026.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience preferred; new grads may apply.
• Must hold BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and apply anatomy knowledge.
• Travel assignment: 13 weeks starting 11/30/2026, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living skills.
• Assess conditions, set goals, and select activities to meet those goals.
• Educate patients and families about care needs and accommodations.
• Document progress and coordinate with the care team in acute settings.
