Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a Travel Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in Aurora, CO to manage case coordination, patient education, and referrals across multi-specialty offices.

Requires 1–3 years in dental treatment coordination, knowledge of PPOs/ Medi-Cal/ CHIP, Open Dental/Dentrix familiarity, travel 90–100%, and bilingual Spanish. Compensation ranges from $25–$28 per hour with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of dental treatment coordinator experience required.
• Knowledge of PPOs, Medi-Cal, CHIP dental insurances.
• Experience with dental practice management software is helpful.
• Willingness to travel 90–100%.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on treatment type and scope.
• Convert planned treatment to scheduled treatment across specialties.
• Communicate treatment plans and updates with referring offices.
• Handle pre-authorizations and payments (cash, credit, Care Credit).
• Audit chart notes and create dental claims.
• Run end-of-day reports and assist with open/close of the office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of previous dental treatment coordinator experience is required.


• Must have knowledge of all dental insurances including PPOs, Medi & Chip


• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful


• Must be able to Travel 90- 100% of the time


• Bilingual (Spanish) is must

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.


• Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty. (Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics)


• Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates on patient treatment.


• Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider)


• Send Pre-Authorizations


• Must utilize excellent communication skills with an ability to explain, present, and educate dental procedures and treatment plans to patients plainly. (Fillings, Crowns, Bridges, Dentures, Implants)


• Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit


• Ability to audit chart notes and create claims


• Ability to run end of day reports


• Assist with open and close of the office


• Daily housekeeping (will be shared with other staff)


• Performs all other duties as assigned


• Compensation Range $25-$28 per hour
