Job summary

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics in Thornton, CO seeks a Travel Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to educate patients on required treatments and coordinate multi-specialty care across orthodontics, pedodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.

The position requires 1-3 years of coordinator experience, knowledge of PPOs/Medicaid/CHIP, and travel up to 100%. Familiarity with Open Dental or Dentrix is a plus; Spanish bilingual is required for patient communication.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of dental treatment coordinator experience required.
• Knowledge of all dental insurances including PPOs, Medi & CHIP.
• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful
• Must be able to Travel 90-100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
• Convert planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty (Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics).
• Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates on patient treatment.
• Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider).
• Send Pre-Authorizations.
• Explain dental procedures and treatment plans clearly to patients.
• Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit.
• Audit chart notes and create claims.
• Run end of day reports.
• Assist with open and close of the office.
• Daily housekeeping (shared with other staff).
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Compensation Range $25-$28 per hour

Compensation Range:

$25-$28 per hour
