Job summary

Rodeo Dental is seeking a Travel Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to support our multi-specialty team from Thornton, CO. You will educate patients on treatment options, convert planned care into scheduled procedures across orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and other specialties, and coordinate with referring offices.

The role requires 1–3 years as a dental treatment coordinator, travel 90–100%, and bilingual Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of dental treatment coordinator experience required.
• Knowledge of PPOs, Medi & CHIP dental insurances.
• Must be able to travel 90–100% of the time.
• Bilingual Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
• Convert planned treatment to scheduled treatment across multiple specialties.
• Communicate treatment plans and updates with referring offices via letters and emails.
• Call/fax COP (change of provider) as needed.
• Send pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Explain dental procedures and treatment plans clearly to patients.
• Process payments (cash, credit, Care Credit).
• Audit chart notes and create claims.
• Run end-of-day reports.
• Assist with opening and closing the office.
• Daily housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of previous dental treatment coordinator experience is required.
• Must have knowledge of all dental insurances including PPOs, Medi & Chip
• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful
• Must be able to Travel 90- 100% of the time
• Bilingual (Spanish) is must

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
• Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty. (Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics)
• Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates on patient treatment.
• Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider)
• Send Pre-Authorizations
• Must utilize excellent communication skills with an ability to explain, present, and educate dental procedures and treatment plans to patients plainly. (Fillings, Crowns, Bridges, Dentures, Implants)
• Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit
• Ability to audit chart notes and create claims
• Ability to run end of day reports
• Assist with open and close of the office
• Daily housekeeping (will be shared with other staff)
• Performs all other duties as assigned
• Compensation Range $25-$28 per hour

Compensation Range:

$25-$28 per hour
