Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a travel Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment. You'll work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, in a facility in Pittsburgh, performing perioperative care and collaborating with the surgical team.

Requirements include one year OR RN experience, valid RN license, and BLS. Preferred ACLS/PALS or CNOR. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of OR RN experience required.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room with sterile instruments and supplies.
• Assist in positioning and prepping patients for surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control.
• Anticipate needs of surgical team and provide instruments promptly.
• Monitor patient condition during surgery and document changes.
• Handle instruments, sterilization, and disposal per protocol.
• Document care in perioperative records and communicate handoffs.
