MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves 40 hours per week on a 13-week assignment with 10-hour evening shifts, focusing on perioperative care.

The qualified candidate will have 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel credentials, housing, and benefits are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse as required.
• Assist in instrument handling and preparation within the sterile field.
• Educate patients and coordinate with the care team in the OR.
