Job summary

TotalMed RN in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an OR travel nurse (RN) to cover 12-hour night shifts in the operating room for a 13-week assignment.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care circulating or scrub experience, BLS, and the ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

This travel role offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, benefits, and opportunities to work across facilities while building perioperative skills.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer and document prescribed medications with monitoring.
• Serve as liaison between patients' family and operating team.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed on the patient.
• Initiate patient education on medications and home care.
