Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR RN for travel assignment in Augusta, GA. The role covers circulating, scrub, and possible RN first assistant duties in the operating room, with 14-week duration and 36 hours per week on days.

Requires BLS and ACLS with 1 year of experience in acute care. Travel nurses should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Excellent benefits accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse; RN First Assistant potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and surgical team before, during and after procedures.
• Prepare, administer and document medications; monitor patient responses.
• Communicate with patients' families; ensure correct procedures and patient safety.
• Coordinate instrument handling and room setup for circulating and scrub roles.
• Support RN first assistant duties as needed.
