Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel OR RN for a 14-week assignment in Augusta, GA. This role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour daytime shifts, and travel benefits with competitive pay.

The RN will provide perioperative care, prepare the operating room, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The candidate should have one year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/ENPC or CNOR are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications preferred.
• CNOR and other certifications may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments, equipment, and supplies for each procedure.
• Positions and preps patients for surgery, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintains sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Assists surgical team by providing instruments and supplies to maintain workflow.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and communicates changes to the surgeon.
• Documents perioperative care and ensures accurate records.
