Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse (RN OR) for a 13-week assignment in Austell, GA. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, and possibly RN first assistant. Expect 40 hours per week with 8-hour daytime shifts.

As an OR Travel Nurse, you’ll support surgeons and staff, handle pre- and post-operative care, and assist with instrument handling. BLS/ACLS are required; additional certifications may be needed before starting.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant.
• Travel RN position with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Maintain instrument handling and assist with procedures as needed.
• Monitor patient during surgery and report any complications.
