Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an OR RN travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in York, PA. The role involves operating room duties, including circulating and scrub responsibilities, with a 40-hour work week and 10-hour day shifts. Start ASAP and travel may be required.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, with potential RN first assistant credentials. BLS is required, and additional certifications may be needed before the assignment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, and potentially RN First Assistant.
• ASAP start for a 13-week travel assignment in York, PA.
• 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and administer/record medications.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families and operating team.
• Prepare instruments, monitor patient and respond to complications during surgery.
• Educate patient and family on medications and home care after discharge.
