Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in York, PA. You will provide comprehensive perioperative care, prepare the OR, manage instruments, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires 1 year of OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS. Preferred certifications (ACLS/PALS or CNOR) may be considered. This travel position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of Operating Room RN experience.
• Valid RN license in the state where you work.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning and prepping for surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instruments promptly.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and document changes.
• Handle instruments, sterilization, and waste disposal per protocol.
• Document perioperative care and participate in handoffs.
• Restock the OR and ensure compliance with policies.
