Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN for OR - Operating Room in Englewood, CO. This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week, night shift, and competitive pay with benefits.

As an OR RN, you will prep the OR, assist with procedures, maintain sterility, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality perioperative care in a dynamic setting. Required is one year OR RN experience, valid RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/ENPC or CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications are preferred.
• OR Nursing Certification (CNOR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready and functional.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Anticipates the surgical team's needs and provides instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and communicates changes.
• Documents all aspects of perioperative patient care accurately.
